The intrigue of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race comes alive as you mush through the Alaskan wilderness to the base of Resurrection Mountain and along Box Canyon Creek.
8:30 am, 10:00 am, 11:45 am, 1:45 pm, 3:30 pm, and 6:00 pm daily (Mid-May through Mid-September)
Upon return to the dog yard, tour our beautiful kennel facilities, laugh as a volunteer is dressed up as an Iditarod musher, and cuddle adorable husky puppies. Our guides are all Iditarod racers, and offer a delightful, humorous, behind-the-scenes look at the training for the most demanding race on earth. Guaranteed to be one of the highlights of your vacation, this tour was chosen as one of Alaska's Top Twenty Attractions, and is a must-do for all visitors to the Greatland.
Tour does not include hotel pick-up and drop-off, but there is a free shuttle from 8 Seward area locations. Rates are per person. Child age is 2 to 11; children under 2 may ride in an adult's lap for free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
There are no refunds. All sales are final.
If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
